“Akaw” ocean wave

”Akaw” is a word some surfers have been known to shout out when they spot a huge perfect wave or when they are shocked or surprised. Living right by the ocean in Tugun on the Gold Coast, I often sit and watch how the waves for out in the ocean and roll to the shore. Stunning blues, aquas, teals and whites capture the force of the water all rolled into one magnificent wave crashing to shore.
